How do you program the passive locking feature so that the system locks all doors 30 seconds after the last door is closed?  Should this be done by the installer? Or is it a simple change for the owner?

Have the installer do it. Most places will void your warranty if anything including programming is tampered with.
A DMM is a beautiful thing.
