immobilizers

Hi. This is my first post here. I've just purchased a Viper 5901 remote start / alarm. I will be installing on my new 2010 Ford Fusion Sport. I have installed two Bulldog remote start systems on other cars a few years ago. Neither install needed a immobilizer. I've been trying to determine which immobilizer to go with. It seems that the three main choices are DEI (which I think can be "docked" inside of the 5901, Fortin and iData. All these manufactures make multiple models that are compatible with my Fusion. My question is which one is the best choice. It looks like the more expensive ones don't do anything extra, they're just  compatible with more models.Also, I read on one of the sites that the unit can't be reprogrammed to another model car if you should want to move it.  I'd love to hear everyones opinion on which would be the best choice for my application.  Thanks, Monty

My first choice is iDatalink because it's the most versatile module out of the 3 as well as it can do D2D wiring which makes installation easier as well as more secure during remote start. You would only need the ADS-TBSL-FM for this vehicle as the other modules will not do doors or hatch or any other convenience features.Jeff
