Hi, I have a question about a remote start that I had recently installed (viper 5301). I have a 2002 300M and it has the memory power seats (when you put the key in and turn it on the seat moves forward to where it is set too. When you turn the car off and pull the key out the seat goes back to make it easier to get out. With the remote start installed it still functions the same when using the key to operate the car, but if I start it using the remote start it acts differently. It will maintain its position until I put the key in and turn on then hit the brake it will go to its preset position. But when I turn the car off after it has been remote started and pull the key out the seat does not move back it stays in place. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the way the bypass kit is set up or not.
I asked my installer and they didn't think there was anything that could be done for that.
Has anyone had an issue like this or know if it can be corrected?
Thanks
John
