2008 jeep wrangler climate control wire

Looking for the correct wire to connect a viper 5901 to the climate control system to have it come on when using remote start.timcan72

ACC is controlled through the MUX wire. When the vehicles sees the correct resistance on the MUX wire, it will turn on the ACC circuit. ACCESSORY IS (-) THROUGH A 560 OHM RESISTOR,SAME WIRE AS STARTER 2 AND KEYSENSEJeff

thank you for the reply.So I would connect the climate control wire from the alarm to the same mux wire that I have the bypass module connected to with the 560 ohm resistor,correct?Just want to be sure that whole mux circuit is new to me.Thanks in advance .timcan72

No, if you already have the MUX wire connection installed to a bypass module, the module takes care of the MUX and therefore will take care of the ACC for the Jeep. Cut and tape off the ACC wire from the remote starter unit as it is not used in this installation.Jeff

Thanks Jeff,I have the bypass connected through the Mux but I don't have any accessory power to the ac or heater , or anything else for that matter,while the Jeep is running on remote start until I enter and turn the key on to take it over.Using a pkuch2gx bypass ,think I might have missed something on it that is not sending the accessory power through if that's the case.Thanks again.timcan72

Went back in and checked the bypass and I have it hooked up per the instructions.I did notice another weird symptom while checking it.If I remote start the jeep and then shut it down with the remote all of the accessories come on after the engine stops running.Any help is appreciated.timcan72

Still at a dead end on this one looking for help.I have the bypass module hooked up as per the instructions but I have no power to any accessories while the Jeep is running on the remote start.I suppose I could have a bad bypass as I have not found anyone else with this problem.Any help or suggestions are appreciated.timcan72

I have left out an important detail,I am using a PKUCH2X module for the bypass.I have possibly narrowed it down to the ground when running wire.I have this connected to the remote start aux output status wire on the Viper 5901.Starts fine this way but no accessories.I tried remote starting and disconnecting these wires from each other and radio and heater came on and engine stayed running.I guess my new question is what wire should I be using on the Viper as my "ground when running"?Thanks in advance for any input.timcan72

Use the BLUE wire from the 5 pin connector. DO NOT use the BLUE/WHITE wire for the 2nd Status.Jeff

That is the wire that I was referring to.It does allow the start but I have no accessory power while it is running unless I disconnect it after it starts.Thanks for the reply.timcan72
