guys i need to find out for real if    key sense    its nescessary when do a remote starter,i heard some tech sayng its nescessary  key sense on ford and chrysler because theses vehicles  they used to erasure the key code.?  thanks

what t&t tech said. depending on make and model, sometimes the keysense will disarm the factory alarm. so if you want to know for sure then post bac kthe model/make/year of vehicle your dealing wiht.

The only remote start I have come across that requires keysense is honda, acura, and saturn. All depends on vehicle though. Doesn't hurt to hook it up at the same time though.
