I have installed a Viper 5901 and XK01 on my 07 Classic Chevy Duramax and there a a few features I would like to activate. They are listed below:
1. The turbo timer cool down mode says it will activate when a negative is pulsed to that wire. Is there a simple way to do this without having to use the remote or a push button every time? I would like it to automatically go into turbo timer mode as I shutdown the truck.
2. I want to be able to activate the defroster with an auxillary on the remote. The rear seems simple enough as I think I would use a relay to turn it on but the front would have to be turned on as well as the temperature turned up and the blower speed turned up, any recommendations.
3. I aslo want to turn on the heated seats with the remote which should be easy enough with a relay but I was told they will not actually heat up until there is weight on the seat. Can anyone confirm this and if so is it worth doing?

1. Turbo timer has to be turned on in the programming first, then it has to be activated from remote or through the harness H1 WHITE/ blue and programming can be set to how many presses on a spring button is needed.

2. Front window defrost will have to be set on the enviro controls of the vehicle before you get out. And when remote starting the accessory should turn the enviros on.
3. Check iDatalink's site for the seats thing. I've seem control for seats through their transponder boxes. Check your vehicles specific application guide on there, probably on a MULTI box.

I have already turned on the turbo timer feature but was wondering if anyone new of a way to wire it so that it was automatic instead of using the remote or the push button. Maybe somehow as a part of shutdown a relay pulses the groung to the wire on the module. I understand what would have to be done is get a ground pulsed to that witr I am just not sure how to do it automatically as a part of turning the truck off.
