My 2002 Dodge RAM 1500 security light flashes constantly when the ignition is off. I bought the truck used and never had any keylessentry buttons. The truck runs fine but the interior lights will not come on when the door is opened unless the key is in the ignition and turned on, and the radio also stopped working at the same time.

the big red circle light in the instrument cluster will flash as its like an alarm led for the skim key( your key heads are grey arent they?)radio may be a blown fuse have you checked all the fuses?

Secureman, I have the EXACT same problem...the computer code reader is dead too isn't it...

It's not your fuses...I think it's in the alarm system...which I didn't even know I had

Mine is intermitent, it was working yesterday, the lights were on without a key and the radio was working,  so I quick drove to Dodge, I left the engine running and went in to get the tech, by the time we got to the truck it had malfunctioned again and the radio was off and nothing was working again...figures!

HELP us people!!!!      This is rediculous...

just had my truck fixed same problem exactly..cost me 290.00 here is the fix there was a broken wire under the fuse panel.  the broken wire was directly connected to the plug under the dash that is used to check the codes for the computer.  if you hook the engine checker and you get a low voltage reading than you have the same problem i had .  no interior lights, radio, door locks and no buzzer when key is in the ignition but not on.  red light flashes when key is off and in the ignition.  red light goes out when car is started or put in the accessory position.  now all things are back to normal.  let me back up a bit this all started with the radio going off and on at any time for no good reason.  finally it went out all together and the red light started flashing. good luck
