aps997 programming and lcd

Hello, Quick question for a noob. I have an APS997 with the LCD 2 way remote and can't figure out a couple things. I was sitting in my office today when my LCD began vibrating at me and the PHONE icon started blinking. I did have the other remote in my pocket, so I guess a button could have been pushed. What does that mean? Also, I have no Idea which button is the Valet button, but apparently I have pushed it because the little SIREN icon on the back of the car now has an "X" through it and the car no longer chirps when I disarm or arm it. How do i get the chirps back? One last thing...My shock sensor is not very sensitive. I mounted it to a solid metal surface on the firewall of the truck between the steering shaft and the gas pedal. But it takes a good hard kick to get it to bark at you. I'd like it to be more sensitive but i turned the dial all the way to "max", but it still is not sensitive enough. Any advice is great! Thanks.

for the siren with an x, that means its in silent mode. park lights will flash, but no siren tone. no idea about the phone icon. as for the schock sensor, try turning the dial the other way. and test.Ted

Thanks, so how do I turn off the silent mode with the transmitter? AAAAAND...which button is the valet button on the transmitter?
