I'm hoping someone can help here. I've searched and found nothing that will help me. I've installed an Avital 4103 RS with an XK05 flashed with PKG-1 in a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. I am also using the D2D cable between the two units. The car starts with the remote then shuts right off. When I unplug the 10pin harness from the XK05 and jumper across the Pink and Pink/White wires which are attached to the cut Ignition wire (pink) on the Passlock III module the car starts and shuts right off with the security light in the dash board flashing. The light doesn't flash when the harness is plugged in and you start the car. If I insert a key into the Ignition (with the wires jumpered and the harness unplugged) without turning the key the car starts and runs fine with the remote start.

Any help with this problem would be greatly appriciated.

you need the PKG3 1.00 firmware. Dont use the d2d, and use the w2w method.

if you can remote start the car witht he key in the ignition cylinder, you havent bypassed the immobilizer. that means 1) your bypass isnt programmed 2) its wired wrong.

from the xk05 to car immobilizer wiring

(xk05) GREEN to BLUE (car)
(xk05) BLACK to BLACK (car)

*CUT THE PINK WIRE IN HALF, and CONNECT LIKE SO*

(xk05) PINK/WHITE to PINK (car) ***towards the ignition cylinder***
(xk05) PINK to PINK (car) ***towards the engine bay, away from ignition cylinder***
