2000 GMC Jimmy installed a Viper 571xv and made my own bypass for passlock2. Everything worked great up untill recently.... After about 2 weeks the driver and passenger lock/unlock switch stopped working along with the rear hatch release. The lock/unlock still work with the viper remote, just not inside the vehicle.  Fuse for power locks is still good and i cant find if there is another one somewhere else in the car.

Anyone else ever have this sort of problem? Just looking for ways to try and figure out what the hell went wrong and how to fix it.

You have blown the underhood fuse labeled MIR/LKS. It is a 3 amp fuse. You may have connected something to this circuit and caused it to draw too much current and blow the fuse. Check your wiring with a meter first. Make sure that the hatch release is wired as a negative circuit at the release switch.

Thanks very much for this information. I hooke up trunk release directly to the hatch switch, which im guessing caused the fuse to blow. Hooked up to BCM and havnt had any problems since. Thanks again.
