Hello guys, I am hoping somebody has run into this before. I installed a crimestopper R/S in a 2006 altima, works great except for the transponder part. I used an omega IM07-PKN3 to bypass the transponder. Went over the wires a dozen times. When i turn the key on to program it,  the led on the omega flashes for 5 seconds then goes out, like it is supposed to when it has programed succesfully. But when i remote start the car the security light stays lit and it just cranks.  I tried switching the can high/low wires but when i did the omega led just kept blinking.

Can anyone help an extremly frustrated individual :(

i use to deal with crimestoppers(i feel your pain), make sure you didnt use d2d, hard wire it, and check the ground when running from the remote start, sometimes you need a relay to boost the ground when running from the remote start.

OK thanks for the info, I did connect it wire to wire not d2d and I connected the ground while running input directly to the cars chassis just to be sure. No joy. Its strange that the led on the bypass flashes then goes out as if it has programmed sucessfully

There's your problem then.
Ground-when-running is supposed to receive a ground only when the remote starter is on, not all the time. The way it's connected now, the bypass module is active all the time.
Although, the way you have it wired should do the opposite of what you're experiencing. The bypass is on all the time, and theoretically, it not only would make the car easy to steal, it should be draining the battery too. I would think your remote start should be working all the time, instead of never.
Regardless, I'm not too familiar with Crimestopper. But it must have an output that makes a steady ground when the remote starter is on.....they might call it "status" or "ignition 3" or something like that.
Find out which is the correct output from the Crimestopper, and the brown from the XK07 IM07 should be connected there.
