Hello All,
Had a Scytek 2000rs installed in wifes 2004 Lexus RX 330 for
Christmas.
The remote starting works fine but:
The vehicle has started daily at 5:39 pm since. I have an
FM 2 way remote that I never programmed to auto start vehicle.
Vehicle still started when I disconnected antenna.
Vehicle still started when I pulled batteries from both remotes.
I've performed default reset per manual, vehicle still started.
I've disconnected battery negative for 20 minutes and reconnected.
That caused vehicle to auto start at 6pm.
I've spoken with Skytek tech people and have tried their suggestions
including turn ignition 4 times, and hitting valet button and
hitting any button on remote.
I pulled the fuse from fuse box that powers the system, reinserted
and car still started.( A little later)
Skytek is pointing fingers at installer but I'm skeptical it's an
installation issue.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply T.
I again reset the system to factory default. System gave
6 beeps to confirm.
Car started again this evening. Grrrr!
I do not believe any type of timer mode is set, and would
think a reset to factory default would negate one.

No problem!

Because my suggestion was kinda obvious, thank you for being such a good sport and not retaliating with some obnoxious remark as is so frequently done by alot of newbs who come on here in search of help, only to end up in all sorts of arguments!

Good luck with solving the probs! Cheers!

Ok, i just checked out the manual for this system for you, it only makes mention of an automatic cold starting, to switch off feature

Turn on ignition

Lock and unlock using the remote

panic the system

If of course you haven't tried already!

I saw that too and may try it. Thing is, it starts at a specific time
daily. It appears that the cold start is for multiple starts to keep
vehicle warm.
Me and wife are heading to BOS tomorrow in my F150. I'll have to
disconnect the Lexus battery before I go so the stupid thing
doesn't start.
Needless to say I'm not real impressed with Scytek support.
