I recently installed an Autopage RS-60 remote start on a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 deisel. The issue is that i had to use voltage instead of tach and when the vehicle sets overnight in 20 degree temps it will not start in the morning. I could not find a usable tach on this vehicle. If anyone has come across this vehicle and found a good tach wire please help! And please don't quote direct techs or any other forum if you have not found tach on this vehicle yourself! I have been on a wild goose chase between tech sites info for about a week now. Thanks in advance.

Use the cam shaft sensor wire at the lower front of the engine. It's a PITA to get to but works great.
