I need to hook up the parking lights for a customer. From the wiring diagram that I had, it said to hook to hazard lights, but he would like the parking lights to be constant.
I tried to trace the wire coming from the parking light relay under the hood, but can't find the wire on the other side of the PDC. I tried setting my meter to beep in the ohm setting, but it never beeps on any of the prongs on the other side of the PDC. Since they use a circuit board rather than just a terminal pass through, do I need to check for the wire differently?
Others have recommended that I just use a fuse adapter and plug it in on the relay prong. Would this be a safe way to do it? Or is there a better way?
I would prefer to solder to the wire directly, but can't seem to find it. If there is another way, that will work well and be a safe installation, I am open to that as well.
Thanks
Shawn

^Thats the way I do it on all the Cherokees since 1999. On the newer ones I even do the Horn that way.

Excellent. Makes my life alot easier.
Just wasn't sure if that was the safest way to do it.
Thanks
Shawn
