I have installed a Viper remote start on my 2003 Dodge Ram.  I used some of the wiring guides I found on this site.  I could not have done it without all of you.  It works starts fine, but I have noticed something interesting that has me a little worried.  When I remote start the truck, I notice a strange noise coming from under the truck, almost sounds like underneath the drivers side door.  As soon as I put the key in the ignition and step on the break it stops.  I am worried I don't have some important vehicle system properly powered.  Does anybody have any ideas or seen something like this?  Thanks in advance.

That truck has a rediculous amount of accessory wires on it, 4 i believe. Did you power them all?

I have always thought the problem might be some accessory wire not being powered.  Do you have color code list of the accessory wires that should be powered???

Thanks

Yuo did not power up all the ACC or the IGN wires required . I had the same thing happen and I neglected to power up the 2nd PRIMARY ACC wire ( GREEN ). In this truck you need to power up 2 x IGN and 2 x ACC and one 2nd ACC.

You don't NEED to power up all of them. Just the ones listed to run you engine, heather/A/C and your starter to engage. Unless it is required for R/S as listed. Yes there is a ton of wires in the harness it is just a matter of finding the right ones. Just make sure you are connecting the right inputs by testing with a multi-meter.
Remember
ACC- Drops to 0 when cranking
IGN- drops to around 10V when cranking
Starter- Only shows voltage when cranking.
