vibe

I have a 2006 Pontiac Vibe that I am installing an astrostart 2100 into and wehn i attempt to remote start it the relays will click and the dash lights and radio come on for a couple seconds then the astrostart seems to shut itself down and the doors lock. I have double checked my wiring and everything tests ok but I did try another starter and it did the same.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

not sure if that car has transponder, but sounds like it does try holding key head next to key cylinder (not in) and remote startingGreenGables

my book shows no transponder or bypass required could be wrong did you remember to set the settings for automatic transmission count the flashes on the led on the brain after a failed attempt any of these would signal that it is manual mode 6 flashes Stopped by manual interface (Invalid safety sequence) 14 flashes Safety sequence broken by parking brake. 15 flashes Safety sequence broken by opening a door. 19 flashes Manual interface not connected correctly to remote start module. 20 flashes Manual interface detected when the unit was programmed in “Automatic transmission”.
