I have done lots of searching and reading and have not been able to find anything on this. I am looking in to buying this system and installing it myself. My question is do you have to buy something else in order for keyless entry so that I do not have to carry around the factory key fob for keyless and the autopage fob for remote start and alarm.   Also any advice on how easy this system is to install on this truck. I am going to be installing it on an 03 Chevy Silverado Z71. I am sure I will have more questions if I end up going with this system. Thanks in advance

you will need bypass module to do passlock,.. or"bypass key" and the ones for gm's are cheap enough and common enough you should just get bypass that does key and doorlocks,.. it would be same price anyway. if you choose to do passlock bypass yourself with resistors and relay it will set off security light.

The RS665 is a very nice remote start alarm. Haven't dealt with the 2way model yet but I'm sure it is all the same. We carry the RS730 for the 2way remote start alarm option. That model has a chrome remote that you can change the background color on. Either way they are nice alarms. As far as the bypass goes u can use the Xpresskit DLPKGM. It is fairly easy to install and will do door locks and the bypass. It also gives you tachometer output. Chevy trucks are an installers dream in my case. They are super easy especially with the DLPKGM. PM me if you need any help.
