I came across an Alpine SEC-8059 without the wiring diagrams, and found on here the Wiring diagrams for the Sec-8058 is it similar enough to use or am I SOL? I am just looking for something to install in my 83 Subaru Brat. I got broken into a couple weeks ago, and would like to install this one. I've installed Autopages a couple of times, So I have the general Idea of what I'm doing but was hoping maybe someone here has the knowledge or the wire diagrams for this alarm?
Thanks

Alpine is pretty good about designating a wire color for a particular function and sticking to that color from there on out.  If the wire colors are the same on the alarm versus the manual you located, you should be OK.  Connect constant and ground and siren wire, arm and disarm and listen for chirps.  Then arm the alarm and ground the wire for negative door trigger, does the siren sound?  Now ground the wire that is for sensors, does the siren sound?  Check all that you can before installing into the vehicle.  But I am pretty sure the manual you found will be fine.

Ok, Guess I'm a total Newb.
I have the Wiring Diagram, And its gonna be a simple install, As I'm just doing Door locks, and Siren, And possibly a sensor for the canopy, but, I have a question about the Diagram, its the SEC-8049 Diagram BTW.
I don't think I'm gonna do Starter kill, At least right now, as I'm also Confused on that Diagram.
Wire 2, Which is Armed Output - 200mA What do I do with That?
Wire 5, Door input (+ or -) I can wire that to my dome light Correct? or does it have to go to the switch?
Wire 15, Ignition ( N/O Starter Must be True Ignition) ??
I'm sorry about the Newb Questions, as I mentioned before I have installed Autopages before, but this wiring Diagram although Simplistic seems to have me confused. I have a local install shop that is really friendly and I will most likely go to them with any unanswered questions, and for any parts that I may need. This is My project car, And I plan on leaving stock stereo in place, so I'm not worried about that but I am worried about the recent break in were they pryed the window back and got in to steal my GPS and my Camera. (but none of my tools (including a Fluke Multimeter sitting next to the camera.)
