I got the diagram for the 2 relays and resistor to bypass passlock 2 from the downloads section of this site and it worked perfect.  It has a diode on the gwr or status wire to the relay.  I check audiovox website and their's  is a tad different but same idea.  They do not have diodes on the gwr/status wire triggering the relays.  Would going by the avox diagram set you up for some feedback without the diode(s)?

diodes prevent feedback.

if you have them on a relay coil, that prevents voltage spiking that can damage the alarms (-) output. Its good to use diodes as a preventative meansure, but the diagrams are the same. the alarms outputs nowadays have durface mount diodes to prevent backfeed onto the unit itself. so no need to worry.
