Okay, so I'm having this problem. I just wired up the 520T backup battery system into my alarm. All went well. Alarm triggers and continues after battery has been disconnected.
I bolted everything back up and called it a day (first mistake)
Today I remote started my car. Perfect. Starts. Put in my key. Drive away. Then I shutoff the car and attempted to start it with the key.
I was baffled when I just hear a clicking noise (starter kill). I thought maybe I should disarm the system again. nothing.
I was standing there a good 5 minutes before I decided to remote start and then drive away.
So basically I can't start with my key. Today I narrowed the problem down to the battery.
When I unplug the battery it will start up with the key. But if it's in there, nothing.
Any advice?

Apparently, I have to place diodes on the blue trigger wire according to this thread: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~106685~KW~520t~PN~0~TPN~1
I will try this and see if it solves my problems.
If you have any other advice I'd appreciate it.
