issues with 2way clifford 50.7x

I have a Clifford 50.7x in my Dodge Ram and the 2way remote will send the command request and the truck will lock/unlock and remote start but when remote fails to receive a confirmation response back from the truck. So it kinda acts like a 1way now. My 1way remote works as it should because it never gets a response back from the truck anyway. Has anyone else had this issue and know what can be wrong? I cant take it back to Circuit City because they are no longer around.

Thats just the thing. I went through all this crap with DEI some time back when i needed a new replacement remote because my original 2way broke where the bottom attaches to the ring. The 50.7 had JUST came out and I bought it as CC was closing. I kept the receipt in the box but as i didnt need it, I stored it in the attic. But when I went to get it out for the receipt I found they printed everything on thermal receipt paper and so all the heat in the attic from the summer made it where you couldnt read anything. I went round and round with DEI about this and finally got a pres rep to send me a new remote. I dont want to have to go through all of that again.
