From what I could find Passtime goes on vehicles and if people dont make their payments they cant start their car. Well I have a customer that has one of these and is wanting a remote start put in his vehicle. Im guessing that passtime is just a starter interupt, but I just want to confirm this with somebody who knows about it.

Yes the Pasttime is a starter unterrupt device.  The key has to be turned to on and then they have to wait for the beeps before they attempt to start the vehicle.  If your remote start unit is programmable for a diesel, set it to 10 second delay and tag the start wire before the pasttime.  This will allow the pasttime to still do it's job, the finance company will love you for that.   We began installing the pasttime units several years ago.  They have since upgraded to GPS tracking devices.  Since the industry is changing, our installers are glad that we do install the pasttime and tracking devices.  Some pay periods it really makes a difference.  Keep the finance company happy, it may get you some extra work.
