I recently purchased a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon with what appears to be a poorly installed or non-working Clifford Intelliguard 800 security/keyless entry system. The dome lights, sunroof, and courtesy lights are not working. Also the drivers side door switch is functional, but did not activate the door chime or dome/courtesy lights. The passenger side switch works and would illuminate the both courtesy lights (but not the dome lights) if the passenger side door was opened after the drivers side door. I replaced several poor splices made in the drivers side door for what I'm assuming is an aftermarket actuator (one wire was completely severed just below the splice) . After doing this and moving some other wiring harnesses around, the door chime for the drivers door began chirping in a very sick sounding way, almost as if there are additional bad connections somewhere. The sunroof and lights work if I apply voltage directly to their wiring harnesses.  I've checked all the fuses I could find in the engine compartment and under the dash. I currently have the entire interior of the vehicle disassembled in an attempt to trace out all the wiring from the Clifford system and possibly remove it and return it to stock. I've located the wiring diagrams for this car in another thread and I'm still in the process of tracing everything out. Anyone have or have access to a wiring diagram you could provide for the Clifford Intelliguard 800? If not, does anyone have experience with these issues for this model Tiburonor can you suggest a manual with good wiring diagrams? These items aren't critical, but it would be nice if they work.

Also, I had the dome lighs working by their roof switches only for a period of time by cleaning the contacts on the ground terminals for the socket. After taking the door apart and fooling with the actuator, they stopped working completely, as did the courtesy lights. I haven't pulled the roof switch back down to test if they still have voltage, but the lights in the door do not. I think a bare wire in the door may have shorted to ground. I can't find a blown fuse for this part of the system. Is there possibly a fusible link that I'm overlooking?

Update!

After I finally broke all the zip ties free and cleaned off all the dust, i realized the system is actually an intelliguard 8000, rather than an 800. I found the wiring diagram on the site, but I'm still having trouble figuring it all out. Could this be a programming issue? I don't have any of the remotes for the unit, the guy I purchased it from is still looking for the remotes.
