I did an 02 Dodge Caravan with a Prestige 997 and everything is working good except the unlock. I put the two relays and the resisters but the unlock isnt working right. I had to set it to double unlock and it works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt. Has anyone had this issue before. Thanks in advance.

I had a similar problem with a 2006 Caravan.

Does the van have the factory alarm?  If it does, when you lock the van with the factory remote or the drivers door lock button, after 30 seconds or so it will not allow an unlock from anything other than the factory remote.  I found that if you remote start it first, it will allow the R/S fob to unlock the doors again.   The R/S fob would always work if you never used the factory fob or the driver door lock button.

Another possibility is the resistor value.  I found that the 2006 Caravan needed a higher resistance on the Parking Light Mux wire than was listed.  You could try a slightly higher or lower vaule on the unlock pulse.

According to the Bulldog web site, there is a DisArm wire.  If you give it a (-) pulse thru a 9000 ohm resister it will disarm and a double pulse will also unlock the doors.  It's a PURPLE / Blue wire at the BCM connector 3, pin 14.

Good luck.

Soldering is fun!

You probably have a factory alarm. The resistance values are different for factory alarm and non-alarm versions.

dont kno if the vehicle has a factory alarm cause the car had an alarm before but the unlock stopped working after two years and then they called me to install a new alarm and i check the resistance and it was good and it would unlock with the double unlock but the customer wants the car to unlock with a single pulse like the first alarm did but its not working right. Im checking the car this weekend again so ill go up and down on resistance and see what i get. Thanks
