i'm puting a remote start in a 1999 kia sephia and got everything in and its not starting because  the wire i used to bypass the clutch isn't allowing it to start.  What else can i do? Its  a cs400 remote start/ keyless. which is  made by code alarm. I haven't installed in a 5 spd for over 7 years. Can anyone give me a refresher?

Remote starters that are designed for manual transmissions have a safety built into them so that you can not start the vehicle in gear. Reservation mode sets up the remote starter so that it is safe to start and vehicle is in nuetral.

i have a ground when the clutch switch is in and i put a custom built plate in for if it is in gear it won't start but when i go to test it its not showing the the switch is in so it just lites up the dash adn doesn't start a cs400 doesn't have that mode it made for an auto.  on the wiring i use a  a blue/blk wire to show a ground for up 4 seconds after the remote start is shut down but its like it doesn't have enough ground but is there anythingelse that i can do to bypass that clutch switch?  i got it to program tach and program the module but its just not remote starting.
