i hooked up my 5901 and dlpkgm.i have 2 problems.#1  it wasnt even cold out this morning, but it wouldnt start this morning.its like it wouldnt crank it long enough.i turned the crank time all the way up to 4 seconds still no start.once its warmed up it will start all day.

problem #2  every once and a while it reads theres a door open.i wiggle the wires around on the bypass  and sometimes it will pick it up again.is there anywhere else on the truck itself i can pick up the neg door trigger so i can see if its the bypass or bad output on the brain.

hook up a tach wire as the trailblazers are notorious for issues when using voltage as the alternator does not come on immediately after starting so when voltage sensing it sees car start at one voltage, then alt kicks on and voltage changes thereby shutting off remote start, so best solution is to use tach wire, which you can either run under the hood to one of the non common injector wires or there is a white wire in the large loom running left to right under the ign harness assembly where you can get the pk lights and brake wire also
as to the door trigger you can get the positive door trigger(grey/blk) in the a pillar harness or sometimes it can be found under the dr sie dash, but i have also just ran it right up to the dome light in the headliner

most bypasses i have seen and used want you to hook to the positive door trigger and then internally the relay switches to negative so then you hook the bypasses door trigger output to your negative input wire on your alarm, if you just hard wire alarms positive door trigger to the grey/blk at light youll just have it chirp when you hit arm/lock(some chirp once, then chirp again after light times out or some chirp multiple times telling you there is a input active)(alarm will be armed but it is not gonna accept a door trigger input yet as the lights still on so its over riding it), then it will chirp again when domelight fades out to confirm alarm is armed and door trigger is now active
