I've been researching for an upcoming install in my truck and have found a lot of conflicting information as far as wiring up the remote start portion of the alarm. Here's what I've got mapped out:
H3/1 Pink > Ignition 1 BLACK/ Red
H3/2 RED / White > +12
H3/3 Orange > NC
H3/4 Violet > Starter 1 GREEN/ Black (car side)
H3/5 Green > Starter 1 GREEN/ Black (key side)
H3/6 Red > +12
H3/7 Pink/White > Ignition 2 Blue / YELLOW (car side)
H3/8 Pink/Black > Ignition 2 Blue / YELLOW (key side)
H3/9 RED / Black > +12
Purple negative starter > relay 85
86 > +12
30 > +12
87 > Starter 2 BLACK/ White
I'm also undecided on which bypass would be best/easiest to use, the DEI PKALL or the Fortin unit. Any suggestions?

recheck your h3/7 and 8

the flex relay output 30 - will go to ignition (no need to cut ign wire)

flex relay input 87 - (has a fuse) wire this to constant 12v
Flex relay 87a - not needed. tape up

i use the fortin modules and no complaints.

I'm not an installer by any means. i have done this for my own vehicles and my kids cars. Someone on this site recommended Fortin units to me and I have done two on fords and one chevy with no problems at all. Connect them according to the instructions and zoom. I think they are sweet.

lol i think it was me. I push fortin pieces like crazy because they work great. Well this all changes when you install the compustar, then the ADS blade modules are the best.

haha, how right you are tedmond. I looked back on my taurus post and there was your suggestion on the fortin bypass. You have a good memory and I thank you for that bit of information.  Those fortin have been painless for me.

Connect the pink/white H3/7 to the second ignition and leave H3/8 unconnected. So isolation of the ignition isn't needed?
