Installed a Python 872 with an EVO CHR (t2) Interface and used the mux relay and the starter wire at the ignition harness. All the wires from the alarm/auto start are wired into the interface module.
The remote start activates but starter does not engage. There is voltage present at the purple starter wire after the remote start becomes active.
Fortin Tech support told me to flash the unit and now it has the latest firmware on it but still no luck.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

do you have your connections to the ignition harness only going to the module or did you connect IGN1 from the remote start directly to the car. if you do then either the module is the issue or, and it may sound weird, but your connection might need to be moved further up the harness closer to the ignition. Had an 07 Ram do the same thing. Idatalink said my connections were too far from the key cylinder. moved them closer and sure enough, started first time
