2009 aveo, passlock

passlock seems to lose programing after first remote start,relearn passlock and it will remote start once

also vehicle will run on remote start in courtesy mode-push start button on remote and remove key and vehicle runs  as if passlock functioning ok,have I missed a wire disarm or ignition

Which bypass module are you using?

All the listings I see, say its a PassKey 3+.  Looks like you use a key in the box or a transponder (that you program as another key) with antenna.

PKU Aveo or PATS Aveo.

car might have a transponder key as well as the hybrid passlock and the first start attempt is working from "memory"of the key being there, some aveos have just hybrid passlock others have both transponder and hybrid passlock, try taking the key apart and removing the guts and try starting car with the key if it has same problem you know it has transponder, also how are you interfacing with the passlock?
