I purchased ultrastart 450pro on the cheap and looking to install on my 2010 kia soul base, no key transponder or factory alarm/keyless.  Ok drivers kick panel is the location for most wires correct.  Does it matter if i hook up windows negative before the door.  Any information would be helpful ive never installed keyless entry but have done quite a few car stereos,boat electrical.  Would posilocks be suitable and ok blue ones.

Here is some inforation on wires

Ultrastart wires  Green  Lock                                                   kia              Brown negative

                              Blue Unlock                                                                      Green negative

                         RED / White       trunk release                                               Pink negative

                        Brown factory disarm?                                                        Grey negative

                   Wht/Blue or Brown    Horn                                                       Grey negative

                   Neg green or purple positive  doorpin?                                Green   negative

     RED positive        12volt                                                                         Red  harness from ignition

    Yellow     Starter positive                                                                        Blue positive harness from ignition

    White selectable assesory 2        Negative                                        Pink negative harness from light switch

chekc your diagram for polarity of the wire then test.

dont use positaps, locks etc. just strip and solder. thats the best way.

I wouldnt have to check polarity would I if information i received is correct on wires.  Where is harness to ingnition switch?  Also location of harness to light switch parking lights?  Im still leaning towards using positaps there simple and on low current should not be issue.

Also grounds are not shown so i guess taping into the harness is bad idea?

Keyless entry,security.  I figured for $44 on ebay free shipping go for it.  Where is cooper in wires lol.
