I have searched through all forums and cant find an answer for my issue...HELP. 2002 Chevy Tahoe Viper 5101 Remote Start xpresskit PLJX.I have connected all the wires according to the wiring guide below. The starter cranks but then dies and goes into the no start mode for 10 mins. I am using Xpresskit PLJX for the passlock 2 system on my Tahoe which was recommended from a local shop. After reading some of the posts on here, could it be that I'm using the wrong bypass kit? How can I test to ensure it is bypassing? Will using Bypasskit GMBP or 555L do the trick? Also door locks are not working, do I need another relay kit to make them function?
Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
Chris

Do you have the jumper in the "B" position?   Did you program it, and did it program correctly?   That is the correct module for that vehicle.  And that module DOES NOT do the door locks.  You wire directly to the locks, not thru that module.

Thank you for your help...

Yep, jumper in the B position.  How do i know if it is programmed correctly?  Instructions say start vehicle press and hold program button then release and shut down when it starts blinking.

Also, I have locks wired directly and still not functioning. Can I t-tap those or do they need more current?

Did it program ok?

Are you sure your'e powering the 2 ignition correctly, the dont lose power during crank.  Is there a Brown accessory wire present?

If the door locks are negative trigger,    if you ground the door lock or unlock wires they should operate the locks, very simple.  Did you test the connection, what happens when you try the remote for the locks?   Does it send a ground on the lock wires at the BCM?  Whjat happens if you momentarily ground the Lt. Blue wire?

All wires connected as labeled. I even stuck the key in the ignition while I tried remote start...she turns over all accessories turn on but then dies...starts fine normally...even after repeated attempts with the remote it does not go into security mode, so I think the bypass is working?
