01 dodge grand caravan, remote start

I am doing a remote start on an 01 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport. There have been multiple topics like this and they are all closed so I had to post a new one. I have everything hooked up and realized that any resistors that don't match the ohm load exactly will not work. I am still waiting on the proper resistors to arrive but now I have some major concerns. Hopefully someone will have had this problem or know how to fix it. I am installing a Viper 550 esp and I have read multiple posts on this and I am getting a strange problem. After trying what I thought would work (and didn't) now the radio a/c controls and windows only work when you turn the key to accessory. When the ignition is on none of these things work. I have been installing for about 6 years now and I have never run into a problem like this before. If anyone has any incite please let me know a.s.a.p. Thanks in advance!Ex Circuit City Installer

What color is the mux wire? And what wire would I have mistaken for it? Sorry I have never run into this problem before. ThanksEx Circuit City Installer

I think the MUX wire started in 2002, are you sure you have a 2001?   What are the wire colors at your ignition switch?
