I am installing my first car alarm ever and I was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback. I am deciding between 3 models.

1.)Mannix SM700   2.)Prestige APS996   3.)BlackWidow BWFM7150

***cost not too much of an issue more looking towards quality/reliability***

Also, it looks like you guys are great at giving out wiring diagrams so I was wondering if you could help me out with the wiring set up for a 2001 Ford Mustang 2001 v6. Thanks so much, this is an awesome web site and a great resource.

From those three, I'd choose the Prestige unit. I recently installed a Mannix for a friend who bought it off eBay, and the install manual is full of typo's. And the parts they corrected, they put a sticker over.
I'd also consider the Hornet 554T, Clifford RS3, Viper 790XV, or Python 880XP (all made by DEI).

The Prestige APS996 or any of the DEI products. The Prestige is fairly easy to install and it comes with 2 remotes, 1 lcd and a regular remote.
