new to all this, 2002 dodge durango

Sorry but I am new to all this forum stuff. I am a broke college student (Mechanical Engineer) and my 2002 Dodge Durango was recently broken into. My family felt bad and chipped in to buy me an alarm (no install). It is an Autopage RF-320, the durango does not have a chipped key but I feel like I may need a little help. I am reasonably proficient in electronics and have no worries about my ability to meter or solder, but I would appreciate any suggestions or reference material that you care to offer. Thanks in advance for you help! P.S. From what I have read so far you guys really seem to know your stuff, Hope you can help

Sorry about the car.  An alarm system should slow them down.

Wiring guides are only guides.  You will need to verify all the connections with a Digital Multi Meter.

This site has a lot of info.  The Diodes, Door Locks and Relays sections are great reference.  The Vehicle Wiring area should have info on your Durango.  You can also use the "Search the 12 Volt " feature at the bottom of the page to find earlier posts ( questions and answers ).
