I recently installed the ultra start G11 auto start into my 96 Camry. at first my problem was trying to find the tach wire after successfully wiring all other wires. the remotes worked before as well, and i even made the mistake of resetting the system once. i re-registered the remotes and it works. then i accidentally reset the system again, now i cant register the remotes anymore. i also found the tach wire... so i have a full functioning system with no remote to control or set up the rest of the systems.

do a full factory reset and then you can reprogram remotes again.

Here is a link to the guide :  http://www.ultrastarters.com/Feature_Sheets/G11/MAN-INSTALL-G-2006.pdf

Page 7 has both the Factorey Reset and Remote Transmitter Learn instructions.  If the unit is not responding to the remotes, double check the 2 fuses in the Red wires, the ground connection and the Antenna connections first.  Either routine will require the G-11 to be powered on, the antenna connected and the Ignition 1 output wire connected to the cars Ignition 1 wire.  If everything is good try the Factory Reset.  Hopefully you connected to the Parking Lights and Horn so you will get feedback from the procedure.

well, i checked the fuses and they are fine. i checked the grounds too. i also hooked up the parking lights and horn so i know the antenna and unit is responding correctly. i have reseted the unit a few times already but still no response.
it saddens me that i know everything works but the remotes stopped working... i hope i find out what's wrong...

If the Factory Reset works and the parking lights flash and the horn beeps, then they only thing I can think of is keeping the antenna Program button pressed during the entire Remote Transmitter Learn procedure.

Do the remotes light come on bright and steady when you press any button?  Doubtful that both remotes batteries are bad but...

I have installed a bunch of G-11's and never had any issues with either type of remote used with them.  All else fails, try pulling both fuses for 10 minutes.  When you re-insert them the unit should beep the horn twice.  Try the remotes.  If they don't work try the Learn procedure.

haha, i know for sure the batteries are fine. both my remotes were fine before and they still are showing great sign of life.
the remote learning i tried so many times and even looked it up to find this one video. but the video tells you differetly, turn the car on 3 times and leave it on. press the program button and you will hear 1 honk then followed by 5 honks. let go and then press your remote buttons. versus the handbook where you have to hold onto the program button and press the remote's lock button after the five honks.
well, i'll go pull the fuses out and see what happens...

I just played around with one in a Dodge Caravan.  The timing can be critical ( I even put it into Valet / Service mode un-intentionally ).  Do the Factory Reset.  Make sure you get the correct 3 beep / flash response.  Then do the Remote Learn procedure.  Keep holding the antenna Program button after the 5 flashes / honks and then press the lock button on each remote.  Then release the antenna button and turn the key to OFF.

After the factory reset, you will have to do the Tach Learn procedure again and set and options ( other than the selectable Relay output ).
