problem with 03 tundra alarm

ok i spent the most part of yesterday tryin to figure this out, got a cheap alarm system on ebay to put into my 03 tundra, cant get the doors to do anything have all the wires (thanks to this site) i can make the doors unlock by hitting 12 v on the WHITE/ blue in kick panel but cant make it do anything else, beginning to think theres somthing wrong with the alarm but if i can make the doors unlock by putting volts or grounding to a wire then how would the alarm do it. please help im at my wits end

Does the alarm you purchased have selectable polarity for the door locks? Usually there is a jumper or a fuse you move between two positions to select the door lock polarity (pos or neg)

yes it has diffrent wires for - or + for locks, what i cant understand is why i cant hit the lock wires with + or - and can only unlock doors but not lock them, if i can find this out im sure i can figure the rest

Lock = WHITE/ green
Unlock = blue/red
Both neg both driver's kick well, loom coming in from door, just set your lock wires as neg., job done.

That was Directechs and Bulldog, A/Vox makes it orange and BLACK/ blue at the fusebox.

thanks much guys after much work i can now lock and unlock doors with neg wire, turns out its the wonderfull alarm i bought on ebay.. the door wires from it do nothing no pulse no nothin .. so off to email the seller..
