2002 acura nsx:clifford 50.7x

Recently had a professional install the Clifford 50.7x. A couple of issues and questions:

1. Where should the optimal placement of the alarm/brain go? Under the driver side, passenger side, or behind the HVAC?

2. The vehicle has a standard immobilizer on the key.  When the OEM ignition wire is plugged to the Clifford "Brain" for use with the immobilizer feature, the car will not start. The system will arm and disarm like normal and all sensors seem to be working fine. However, when trying to start the car, the engine will not even turn over (the immobilizer is activated). Leaving the ignition wire disconnected from "Brain" will allow the car to start as normal. Am i correct to assume the factory immbolizer is interefering with the Clifford Immobilizer? Would it be redundant to have to the two? Should I just use the factory alarm and not worry about connecting the ignition to the Clifford?

3. My installer seems to think the "brain" may be defective/refurbished. The remotes that came with the hardware needed to be re-programmed to the brain. The installer stated he had never seen any remotes that werent already preprogrammed to work with the brain right out of the box, leading him to believe the brain was refurbished. Is there any way to physically tell whether or not the unit has been refurbished or used previously?

get the brain high and far up as possible, out of the way of any moving parts so getting to it is hard for anyone trying to steal the car.

defective internal relay? for the starter kill probably.

the new clifford stuff or DEi all need to have their remotes programmed. have nto seen one pre programmed yet.
