I did a remote start on a 5 speed 2010 mazda B2300 truck. The problem I am having now is that after about 5 minutes of the truck sitting it kicks itself out of reservation mode. I believe it is because the factory ECU sends a pulse to the door trigger wires which the remote start see's as the door opening. is there any other way to work around that without putting your own door trigger in? I am using a Compustar remote start (cm5200 brain). any ideas would be great thx.

Does that remote start unit time out at 5 minutes?   Disconnect the door trigger wire and make a way to ground it to trick the remote start unit into thinking you went through the procedure.  Does it still die after 5 minutes?

Ya it works fine once you dont use the factory door triggers. I just dont want to install our own door triggers as there is not a whole lot of space to do so. would like to try to find another solution if possible
