Hello friends ,

This 5901 Toyota FJ Cruiser ran ok with a key-in-box . I put a xk05 WPK1 , w2w . XK05-PKTI_EN_IG_CP20100809[1] .

It says no d2d wiring when w2w ?

By now ,  key programming do not work , led stays on all time .

I triple checked wiring , even continuity each wire .  Wiring is like pdf .

Any idea ?

Thanks for answering, rcavictor.

Verify the Keysense wire with a DMM.  Re-flash the XK05 to reset it and try programming again.

RX wire should go to Pin 4, Pink/Green

TX wire should go to Pin 5, Light GREEN/ YELLOW

Soldering is fun!

Hello friends ,

Thanks kreg357 .

Key sense was ok .

I installed xk05 on passenger side , because E46 connector was there . Following a how to thread , pin 15 and 16 . all wires were triple checked . " IMI (WHITE/ Red Pin #16) and IMO(Blue/Orange Pin#15) wires can be found in connector E46, which is in the 2nd connector from the bottom"

XK05 red led stayed on .

Next , I asked the12volts.com . Kreg357 told me ,  I put XK05 purple wire to 4 (center) , orange wire to 5 on black connector under key . Key programming . And VOILA  , all went by the book .

Thanks again kreg357 .
