how exactly do you go forward with selecting the correct setting with the remote once you select the feature you want to change?

i have to change the menu 2, feature 6 to accessory.

thank you!

You press the single button on the remote to change the feature setting.
The LED on the brain flashes in certain patterns to let you know what's going on. It's a little confusing but if you pay close attention you can see the pattern.
DEI was kinda stupid to put the LED on the brain instead of on the antenna or just flashing the car's parking lights……hopefully the brain's in a spot where you can see the LED.
Anyway, if I'm remembering right…….
So you say you want to change Menu 2, Feature 6, to what would be the second setting.
1. Key on.
2. Key off.
3. Push and HOLD programming button.
4. LED will flash once (you're now in Menu 1)….KEEP HOLDING and don't let go yet.
5. Soon, LED will flash twice, you're now in Menu 2. You can release the button.
6. Press and release the programming button 6 times.
7. Press and HOLD to programming button. (Don't let it go until you get to step 9.)
8. Press the button on the remote once. You should see the LED do something, only I forget exactly what. I want to say it'll flash 6 strong flashes, then pause, then make two fast flashes to indicate you're on the second setting……something like that.
9. Release the programming button.
10. If you wait a short amount of time and do nothing, the unit will exit programming all by itself, but I like to just quickly turn the ignition on and off to exit.
11. You should be all done. If you're not fully confident you did it right, you might quickly put a meter or test light on the unit's pink/white Ignition 2 wire, remote start the car, and verify that it drops power like you want.
Alternately…..where did you hook the pink/white to? You could turn the car's radio on loud and the heater on high, shut it back of, then hit the remote start and pay attention to verify that all the accessories drop out during crank.
