python 571xp and 05 camry door trigger

Hi all, I had Circuit City installed a Python 571XP on my 05 Camry LE 4 yrs ago and at the time, I did not know anything about remote starter installation....I learned after this. Anyway, problems I have right now are 1/ The LED 2 way remote would not receive a feedback signal from the brain, let's say when I press "lock" the car locked but I don't get a feedback signal that my car has been locked, the same problem with start..Do I have a bad remote or is there a typical issues in the Python 571 XP that I need to look for ? 2/ When I remote started the car and want to shut down with the remote at night the headlight won't turn off. It's been the way it was since day 1 after the remote installation. I believed they were lazy and did not install the relay to pulse the door after remote shut down. I'd like to add the relay to pulse the door after remote shut down and I know I can connect the wire right at the drive door switch since I'd done it for my dad's 05 Camry a couple wks ago. Is there a better connection may be in the driver fuse box that I can connect to pulse the door wire instead running wire to the door switch ? Any suggestion would be appreciated !

1. I don't know. Hopefully a DEI expert will know something. I suppose it couldn't hurt to take the battery out of the remote for a little while, reinsert it, and even try reprogramming the remote too. 2. The driver's doorpin wire comes out of the back of the pinswitch, goes downward, then runs to the front of the car along the doorsill. It then goes up the driver's kick panel and to the fusebox. I don't remember which plug it is at the fusebox, but I think it's one of the plugs that's a little harder to get to. Try the plugs that face to the left of the fusebox....they're really tight though. You can undo the three 10mm nuts holding the fusebox in place and let it hang down by its wires to make things a little easier. However, you might want to just pop up the doorsill and connect there.

1/ I tried replacing the battery but didn't help. I'll try to reprogram and see what's going to happen. 2/ It doesn't look like there's a better, easier connection compared to the driver door pinswitch. Thanks,

I went over the Python 571XP manual and I can't find an output would pulse (-) after remote shut down. Any suggestion ?

GREEN / WHITE factory alarm rearm. DEI units seem to have super-weak outputs, and the circuit on the Camry seems to draw a fair bit of current...I think you're going to have to use a relay. And if you pop off the driver's doorsill you'll see what I mean. There's like a two-foot open stretch of wire harness. Just cut away the tape and find the wire you need in there.

Left front door trigger, RED / green. Get it in the harness Chris describes....Mike M2
