I doubt that the flash rate of an LED is running your battery down.  Did you install a starter kill relay?  If so, where did you get power for the coil of the relay?

no i had not intalled a starter kill relay..no relays at all... the flash is very quick and is providing enough constant light to see what is in side with that being said either way i would like to slow it down...can i just break the light or will it wreck it

Is it a LED?
If so, it is likely to only be ~20mA drain - ie, one tenth of one dash bulb or one clearance light (ie, a 2W-3W bulb).

Before I attempted to break the light, I would unplug the antenna or whatever piece the lamp is attached, leave it overnight and see if it cures the problem before you go and destroy something.

It takes approximately 2 weeks of the car standing still for an LED to flatten the average battery. But listen to what Mr. I and Tedmund say.

Press lock on remote. LED will slow to to one flash/second. But I agree with everybody that has said an LED will not kill your battery. Are you using a bypass module? Is it on all the time?
