I have completed my install of the VIPER 5901 into my Toyota Camry XLE 2009. Everything went very smoothly thanks to all of the information here from previous posters. (Thanks MikeM2 for all of your posts they were invaluable!)
My only issue from the install is as follows. When I lock my car it arms my Factory alarm after 30 seconds.
Then if I remote start the car the car starts successfully and the factory alarm sounds near immediately. (Car remains running) I then un-lock using my viper remote and alarm ceases and everything is fine.
Factory alarm does not sound on Trunk Pop or Door Un-lock.
I have wired the key sense at the ignition with the -200 ma Factory Disarm wire from the RS. Is there anything more I have to do with the keysense? If I start RS the car before the 30 seconds it takes the OEM alarm to arm it starts fine. Also if I start the car with my key in the ignition barrel on the off position the alarm does not sound.
I have not used the idatalink module that does all of the connections for you. (Probably a mistake as this was WAY more work)
The wiring connections I completed can be seen in attachment.2007 xle camry factory alarm during rs -- posted image.

Ok, lets think about it. Keysense isn't a pulse, but a constant ground whenever the key is in the ignition. Your disarm wire is a pulse so it won't work. What you need to do is supply ground to the keysense the entire time it starts, so you need to use a blue status wire. If you have an extra one use it, but if you need to use one that is running something else(like your bypass) you will need to diode isolate it.

Duh, sorry makes sense enough. Thanks again Mike. I will rewire tonight.
Should 200ma from the status be enough?
I have a second status wire on the 5901 that I can use with out having to worry about diodes I will try that one as I did not hook up my defroster with this.
If it is broken Fix it.

Since there is no wire you can pulse to disarm the factory alarm without unlocking a door in a Camry, this wouldn't work. Why would you go thru the trouble of adding a relay anyway?
