Hi all. I'm new here to this wonderful forum. My g/f has i believe a 2000 Infiniti g20. I would like to get her an auto start installed. It just so happens that she is also having problems with her stock keyless entree. So i figured might as well get the whole new set up. I was looking at the Python 991, looks like it got really good reviews. Guess one of my issues is i would love to DIY install, but really don't think I can. I'm located in Union, New Jersey and have been looking for a good installer/shop. Every time i find one i read some bad reviews on them. I guess my question is, is the Python a good choice? And anyone know of a good installer in NJ? Thanks for reading.

Hey man, welcome to the forum! Tons of good info and helpful people here.
I think the 991 is a great alarm; pretty much anything by DEI will be quality stuff.
I'm in Ca. so I can't recommend an installer for you in NJ but I'm sure someone will chime in. If not, you can get it installed some place like Best Buy or another authorized DEI installer and you'll then have a lifetime warranty. You mentioned a DIY install which saves a bunch of cash but if you aren't familiar with doing alarm installs and aren't confident that you could pull it off I'd stick with a pro. Good luck!

Thanks Corrado007! Much appreciated. Yeah id love to do it myself. Have some electronics background. Have installed my radio and Parrot hands free in the car. But I'm just afraid this one is over my head. If it was my car i might try it, but don't want to mess with the g/f's car. Ill never hear the end of it if something goes wrong. Thought about Best Buy. I didn't realize they were DEI authorized.
@godd dan it, ill check and PM back, thanks
