Hi Folks I have been looking on the forum for this topic but have found nothing so I hope I searched well or I might face the wrath of others!!.

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty limited and would like to hook on this Python 580 remote starter I just had bought for me.

Could you help me out with the wiring as all these terms for different ignition points and stuff have confused me to the point I am second guessing myself.

I would like to hook the full system up including rear defogger and my electric seat warmers to the outputs.

Here is the diagram from Python can you help me out with wires to what colours and locations.please please please my wife will kill me if I dont get this done soon its her car.

This is about the same as the Viper 5301. Most of the wiring should be the same, except I see yours has an H2 18 pin harness which looks like it combines the Remote Start Aux output (5 Pin), Remote Start Input (5 Pin), and the H2 Auxiliary Harness (7 Pin).

The wiring Guides from a few different sites have different colors  of wire for the Ignition Harness for a Jeep Liberty. So use a DMM to test and verify the wires before connecting the Python wires.

H3/2 RED / White, H3/5 Red, and H3/8 RED / Black should go to you 12 volts constant.  H1/2 red can go there also. There may be two 12 volts under your dash as listed by  http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.asp.

H1/1 Pink to Ignition 1

H3/6 Pink/White to Ignition 2

H3/4 Violet to Starter

H3/3 Orange to Accessory

When all else fails, Read the Instructions

Thanks for the advice...

Basically I want to hook up the starter/door locks/rear defogger/and my heated seats, what wires can i disregard as I see the H3 harness seems to be in (+) and the H2 harness seems to mirror it but in (-) what wires can I disregard.
