How can I bypass the parking brake wire on a 2011 gmc sierra with the factory bose navigation system. Do I have to hook the brake wire to a toggle switch along with the ground? Any help would be awesome!

The best way would be to grab it going in to the Nav unit and use a toggle and Diode isolate the signal.
