Hello, i installed a clifford matrix 20.7x, with a fortin key-override-all bypass. The bypass REFUSES to program. I have two keys available both keys start the car. If i leave the key in the ignition and remote start it, it works fine but otherwise the security light just keeps flashing if the key is not in the ignition. Im thinking the bypass has an older firmware that isnt supported by this vehicle possibly? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as i am completely stumped by this car.

The Key-Override-All is pretty much the same as the DEI PKALL.  See this post :  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~124991~get~last#617247

I would give Fortin a call.  Any firmware V3.05 or better should work ( for 40 Bit keys ).

Soldering is fun!

I indeed called fortin, and they said to try and update the fw to 4.0.5. But i found out the customer does in fact have the 80bit key. So i guess my only solution right now is a 556uw or equivalent. Thank you so much for your input. I wasted 3 hours going through my install /and trying to program over and over thinking it was my fault.

I used a DEI 1100F ( re-badged iDatalink module ) which has been discontinued for a while with no issues on a  2010 F150 with 40 Bit keys.

Two things with this car. Fortin said that directechs, and astrocharg have the TX, and RX data wire colors reversed, the second thing is that the firmware needs to be updated to 4.05 in order to work with this vehicle

Thanks!  That's good to know information.  As for the RX / TX wires, I usually verify with the iDatalink guides, which are always accurate.

If the L.E.D. is rapidly flashing red during the key learn...great indication that rx/tx are reversed...Normal operations... L.E.D. comes on solid during key learn...and stays ON for about 5 seconds...Glad you got it...! Yeah kreg...I always Flash then Print the install guide...Just am so use to it...Even cars that i know i print the guide...! Sometimes refreshes a wrong move/connection...No matter what bypass you use...You can look at their guide for colors/locations...!
