vehicle: 1995 Dodge Caravan Sport w/ factory keyless
addon: Autopage RS-625 (RSKE)
Problem: locking and unlocking
After installing this unit about a year ago it never worked right. It would only honk the horn, flash the lights and pop the hatch. Today i got the remote start part to work (yay me). The problem now is getting the system to activate the locks.
The factory keyless works fine.
Wiring is correct as far as I can tell. Lock and unlock are tapped into their respective relays on the output side.
The unit is only putting out 1-2 volts to trigger the locks. the factory puts out closer to 10.
Is it an issue with the unit?
do I need to tap into the factory keyless?
do I need to add some other relay in?
any suggestions appreciated.
If I find an answer, I will post it up here.

Not familiar with the Autopage unit.  The Caravan has Type A (+) door locks.  Here are the lock wires

color and location.

As Per Bulldog :

POWER LOCK  ORANGE / WHITE (TYPE A)    @ RELAYS in CENTER CONSOLE
POWER UNLOCK  PINK/VIOLET (TYPE A)   @ RELAYS in CENTER CONSOLE

As per AudioVox :

Power Unlock  PINK/VIOLET   (+)  POSITIVE TRIGGER
PowerLock     ORANGE / WHITE  (+)  BEHIND FUSEBOX AT DOOR LOCK RELAYS

Typically Type A (+) lock outputs are fused at 10A.  ( The remote start units I use only output

a (-) lock signal, so I always use relays for Type A(+) locks. ) If your AutoPage unit cannot
output the current needs, relays might be required.

Soldering is fun!
