I installed a CT-3371 in a 2009 Ford Focus with a manual transmission the unit when trying to remote start will not power up the module. The yellow wire was not cut and the power up sequence was followed, the tach has been learned and when i set the remote to ready mode it will go through all the steps properly until step 7 the lights will flash 2times then about 3 seconds later they flash 3 times .When you hit the s†art button the lights flash once and the the dash wont power up. I plugged a CT 3310 in for an automatic trans and it will start the car no problem. I even went and bought another Ct-3371 and tried it and its the same . I tried switching the door trigger wire to the dome light wire+grey and purple the GWR wire to the clutch circuit and the ebrake is connected . any suggestions would be appreciated

If I've understood correctly, you can get remote starter to take over running the car? This would mean that you can turn the key off and remove it and the car stays running? If this is the case then I would assume you're sitting in the driver's seat, activating remote starter, removing key, shutting car down with remote, and it wont start by remote. Do not forget when testing that you must open and then close the door BEFORE you shut the vehicle down by remote. The remote starter needs to "see" you leave the car.

its not detecting the door pin wire. ford.mazda has ground when door pins are closed and go to 0 when opened.
