2003 Dodge Ram 1500 door locks

I need a little help with the locks. I know which wire and where it is (WHITE/ green at the drivers door switch or under the drivers side dash). The problem is that I have never run into a single wire lock/unlock system before. The manual that I got with the alarm said that I need an 815 ohm resistor for lock and 315 ohm resistor for unlock and that this is a negative system. How do I wire them? Do I need a relay (or do I need more than one relay??)? What I need is a what goes where explanation if possible. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 2-door and a Crimestopper 2015fm. I can't find any 815 or 315 ohm resistors. I can wire multiple relays in series to get 820 and 320 ohms. Is that going to be ok? Also, the 2015FM has 2 wires for the lock/unlock feature. One is green and the other is blue. Will I need to wire in diodes as well? The green wire is (-) lock and (+) unlock. The Blue wire is (+) lock and (-) unlock. The manual shows wiring for all but the single wire installation of the door locks. Oh, and one last thing. The resistors that I can get are from Radio Shack. These are 1/2 watt resistors. I would think that since this is a negative setup that 1/2 watt should be fine. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks for any assistance with this matter.

Hey. Since your unit is + lock and - unlock you will need to put diodes inline. If you could select polarity on your unit either + OR - you wouldn't need to wire in diodes.. Either way shouldn't be a big deal..
Diode with stripe on module side.
DOOR LOCK WIRE-----[815 ohm]----[| || |#]-----GREEN ALARM MODULE
DOOR LOCK WIRE-----[320 ohm]----[| || |#]-----BLUE ALARM MODULE
Double check radio shack and see if you can get something close. If all else fails you shouldn't have a problem wiring resistors up to get what you need. They don't have to be spot on either just as close as you can get them. In some cases even with diodes it just won't cut it and you'll need to wire in relays, but try with just diodes first. Anybody have an explanation as to why just using resistors and diodes doesn't work sometimes and relays are required? I've never had that problem but I know some guys at the shop have..
